The MiNE Program distinguishes itself from other
similar courses for the outstanding
academic and professional quality and mix of its
instructors. It enjoys the personal
collaboration and support of a truly top-level
international
faculty, including professors from several
quality US universities (the University of California
at Berkeley, San Diego and Los Angeles, the University
of Minnesota, the Yale School of Management and
Stanford University to name just a few of such
institutions). Academic and corporate experts
of international reputation (for example, from
the Cynefin Centre (formerly IBM Cynefin Centre
for Organisational Complexity) and from several
Silicon Valley companies) form a perfect balance.
All instructors are invited to the MiNE Program
in Piacenza to hold a course (or courses) in person
specifically because they have proven theoretical
and/or practical expertise in their field. Indeed,
of the 29 instructors of the 2003-2004 edition,
12 are experts in the US, the UK and other European
countries; 5, including the Director of the program,
are regular Università Cattolica professors;
the other 12 are academics and/or consultants
based elsewhere in Italy.
Some
of the instructors are also members of the MiNE
Program executive staff; they are regularly present
on campus and ensure the continuity of the Program's
philosophies and policies.
The
Director of the MiNE Program is Prof.
Domenico Ferrari.
Note:
the MiNE Program reserves the right to change
the courses, instructors, or course dates indicated
on its websites, even at the last moment. It guarantees,
however, that, if forced to change the dates of
a course, it will try to minimize the inconvenience
to the students interested in taking it, and if
forced to replace an instructor, it will try to
choose the best available one. In the absence
of a good alternative, it will change the course
choosing the best possible combination of course
and instructor.
